Tending What Is Sacred

I have been sitting with TENDING, I think for many of us this year has brought back a tending of the home, hearth, health family, and our hearts. And for some of us that was enough, and that was all we had the energy for. For others of us we were also tending our dreams, visions, goals, businesses, careers. All of that takes tending as well.

But what about tending our hearts, our spirits, our relationship with the Divine and our inner realms? There is really nothing more important than that. And when you do that, the rest will come. As I was thinking about this, and what I wanted to write I came across this quote:

“What the Universe will manifest when you are in alignment with it is a lot more interesting than what you try to manifest.” -Adyashanti

I can say being someone who can manifest most of what my "mind" decides I want (even when my heart and soul weighs in) and what I want to put my energy towards, that this feels so much more aligned and graceful. Many women I know can set a goal or an intention and GET SHIT DONE. And the truth is the more we manifest, the more "stuff" there is to tend, even when what we manifest is sacred to us and our work. But after a while we no longer have the space to tend our Inner Selves and our relationship with the Divine. And like the quote above, when we lose that connection, when we spend no time aligning with our Divine we lose access to the possibilities the Divine has in store for us that we cannot even begin to comprehend with our minds. Because it is still unconscious.

It is through the tending of the every day, it is through an awareness and trust that every thing we do is sacred that we begin to align with the Divine. AND we bring the unconscious, conscious. When we enter into our inner realms through every day acts of tending...not with the intention to MANIFEST something but with the intention to quiet down and listen to what is possible do we begin to ACTUALLY manifest that which is aligned and graceful AND MEANT for us. And with a lot less energy output. That is what true co-creation with the Divine really means.

I am not saying to not have a vision and take the actions to bring it into form, but what I am saying is be very open and intentional about not trying to "overstuff" your vision board. Because that leaves NO room for Divine grace. Get really clear on the FEW things you want to tend, and for Goddess sake please include the tending of your every day life, your heart, your body and your soul connection with the Divine. It will make the rest of what you bring into the world so much more aligned, sweet, and above all sustainable.

So my invitation to you is to set some time aside and journal on ALL the things you are tending both mundane everyday stuff, and the bigger "dream" or vision, whether realized yet or not. Look at where your tending of your spirit fits in....if it is there at all. Look at where the "juice" is, what is really fueling your fire, and what is not. Ask yourself for those things that are NOT lighting you up but are a part of your day to day life...that is not going anywhere, how you can bring the sacredness to it. Look at what you HAVE manifested and ask yourself if it's even still what you want, if it is still sacred to you. If not, time to let it go and make some space for the Divine to show you the way to what she has in store for you. And of course, ask her/him directly to show you, ask the question before you do the dishes and see what arises.

While I believe we should always be tending our spirits and our Divine connection above all else, going through this process in the Autumn is an ideal time in nature's cycles to understand the amount of energy you are putting out and how many things you are tending, because as we move more towards the darkness and the Winter we move into the energy of completion and then letting go before we chose what we will create in the next seasons/cycles in 2021. So as you are preparing for "visioning" 2021 my guidance is to try these processes, and really be mindful to not put too many collage images on your Vision Board. Leave some room for the Divine to show you what you cannot see right now.

Love and Light,

Dina
