Tools for Transmuting Anger into Passionate Action
Loves,
In the last few weeks I have sat in circles, both my own, and those with other gifted teachers and I noticed a theme around anger. Anger that it is bubbling under the surface for a variety of reasons, but as women we have a tendency to stuff the anger down, because it is seen as a negative emotion. I challenge that idea and believe that channelled and transmuted properly that it can become fuel for our passions, and light a fire under our butts into taking action that services our highest good and those around us. As I sat to write about it, I decided that this content is so rich and so needed that I chose to shoot an hour long video mini-class on recognizing our anger, acknowledging it with love and compassion, and provide some journaling and creative tools to transmute the anger into a passionate action. I do hope you watch, enjoy, and do the practices. Below you will also see a materials link, and links to some of the teachers I mentioned.
Enjoy!
"Anger is neither good nor bad; it is a form of power, and how it manifests can be either destructive or constructive. Anger comes from the Agni Tattva, the fire element that gives us the strength of commitment, discipline, will-power, and the ability to carry out our intentions.Learning to use the power of anger constructively can help us achieve our purpose, fulfill our dreams, and motivate our lives." -Yogi Bhajan
