Making Room for the New
I am spending the rest of this week in ritual to solidify where my life force energy will be going for the rest of the year and into the new year (so I am not sucked into the idea of having all the goals set by January 1). This is a process of looking at ALL of the creative ideas I have, what I desire in my personal life and relationships, and my physical health and well-bring, and discerning what my heart and soul truly desires. Part of this includes getting really truthful about what is not working, and what I need to let die.
I could not do this without creating the spaciousness I discussed last week, to look at life from my heart and not my head. Sometimes doing this and deciding what to release is scary. Last week, I asked why women don't spend time in quiet and spaciousness, I discussed TIME as a reason for not doing it. But the truth is, we have the time, not taking the time to get quiet has zero to do with not having time, although it sounds like a great excuse. The reason we don't do this is FEAR. The reason we don't quiet down and dive into our souls, is because we know when we listen to the truth of our souls we are going to be asked to step out of comfort, out of what the mind tricks us into believing is safe and secure, our soul will tell us in no uncertain terms what is not working. Because the "known" is safe and secure, even if that comfortable place is a place where we are not happy, not in joy, or not living a life made from sovereign choice.Sometimes we fear that if we change, transform and grow, light will be shed on relationships that are no longer serving us. It seems safer than the total unknown, or the KNOWING that in order to transform, something has to die or change. In order to step into the essence of who we really are, things will need to be released. This is a Universal truth. In order to make room for the new and the magical, the old and tired needs to go. And when we sit in quiet we cannot deny what those things are, then we are at choice to keep things the same or to honor the endings, in order for new beginnings to happen. We need to burn those old stories away in order to open to receiving the new. Otherwise there is just no room for magic to happen. And trust me I know it is scary but you don't have to do it alone. The beauty about fear is when you lean into it, it is a catalyst, it is the Fire.
There are some that say, repeatedly doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome is the definition of insanity. So I am asking you what tired and old story are you ready to let go of so you can open yourself up to receive the magic? Whether this is something in your business or personal life, it is time to look at how to do things differently or let something go completely and have total trust in your own inner wisdom, and what the Divine has planned for you. Very often, certain things don't work out because there is something better waiting on the other side. And unless we clean the closet, we can't fit anything new in.
For me, the work has been around completely letting go of expectations and inner critic around what offerings in my business will be successful and which won't, and which ones are meeting the core heart and soul desire I have and that is to create a safe and sacred community of women who have a deep desire to remember who they are and to be fully self-expressed, to be heard, to feel, to belong. That's it.
How I do that is not up to me it is up to the Divine. And my heart is OK with that and my brain just has to come along for the ride.
I have discovered not all of my ideas are landing in my beloveds resonant field. That is OK. I used to get really upset when I got no registrations for a class, I used to think no one was interested in my gifts or what I have to offer. Now I say OK sweetheart, that is not what was wanted, so now you have the life force energy to invite in a different, more powerful creative idea, or even maybe it is just a matter of Divine timing so let that one sit for a while. Or open up to receive more connections and relationships. At this point of my life I am just an open vessel, asking the Divine to bring me those who resonate with me and I with them.
Because here is the truth. Wise Women don't force, push, beg or sell. We set the container, and we invite. Not everyone will accept. COOL. Pushing is just that, pushing everything AWAY not towards. But opening and receiving is energy coming towards you, sending out love and magnetizing it back to you. This shift, this letting the pushing die works, trust me. This week alone, I said three different women's names (out loud) that I wanted to follow up with for possible collaborations. In all three cases, within the hour I received messages from them, before I reached out to them. I shit you not. This is what being open to receive does. It is very powerful work. But in order to do it you have to make space and room in your energetic field. You have to let some things die or change how you are doing them, and be brutally honest about what is not working, and let the Divine take over.
I am inviting you to spend some time this week in quiet time, connecting to your Inner Wisdom and asking what you are ready to let go of in order to make space for the new. Please share with me your answers and if I can support you in any way.
