Celebrate Your Completion!
I would like to take a moment to congratulate you on your completion of:
LIFE!
Yes you heard me, in this moment I want you to stop and take a moment to celebrate the fact that you are complete! You are whole, you are enough. You have done and learned enough to share your gifts with the world. Now is the time and the world needs what you have:
YOU! ALL OF YOU!
Everything you learn and do to grow and transform from this point forward is not to become more complete, more knowledgeable, more anything. From this point forward you are elevating and illuminating what is already there, what has always been there. And I want you to celebrate it.
In the wisdom teaching world we often talk about releasing what is no longer serving you (or maybe never has) and that is a worthy endeavor because it makes room for the new, for the magic, for listening to and discerning your inner wisdom from your inner critic. But what we don't often do is celebrate completions, and the fact that we are complete right now, in the moment. For those of us who love to always be learning, always be growing, be in spiritual practice and community it is difficult to acknowledge that we have already arrived, everything else is a cherry on top.
That is the big picture sense of completion, but I also invite you to take a look at your year and celebrate those things you have completed that were a part of your vision. So often, we complete and achieve and don't take a moment to celebrate all that we have done, sometimes the simplest thing of getting out of bed in the morning and showing up to our lives deserves a celebration.
The muse loves celebrations!
And when we stop to celebrate the Muse is happy, and when she is happy and acknowledged she gifts you with all sorts of creative ideas and possibilities. And these ideas and possibilities are what projects us into the next cycle of being. So what are you celebrating?
This idea of completion has been with me for a few weeks. Ever since my mentor asked me if I felt complete in what I needed to learn and train in so that I can serve my beloveds. And my answer was yes. I have learned enough to be of service to myself and others. Just saying those words out loud created a huge shift and sense of being enough. Does that mean I have nothing left to learn? Of course not, and I sit in humility for all that I have been blessed to learn and all those who I have learned from until now. What is does mean, is I am enough, and I am worthy, I have enough certificates and trainings, and everything else I do from this point forward t is to elevate and illuminate my consciousness, elevate my sacred work, and to be in deeper connection with those whom I meet on this journey. Just showing up as I am in the moment, just being, which is COMPLETE and WHOLE. As are you.
So for this week of Thanksgiving in the US, I invite you to give thanks to YOU. I invite you to contemplate your completion, and those things you are complete with, and to celebrate it. I invite you to explore how you can move from "doing" to connecting, and in what ways you can connect more deeply to yourself, the Divine, to your beloveds, to your community. And if you are so inclined to share ideas and actions you plan to take to be more connected, I would love to hear them.
