Committing to Knowledge is Committing to You
I have been a knowledge junkie since I learned how to read. I read anything and everything I could get my hands on and have always been a bit of a hummingbird when it comes to my passions. Some people may think I have a short attention span; I don’t.
What I have is a deep belief that life is an experiment and I am a very curious subject.
I seek knowledge to grow; that could be to grow my knowledge in a certain area so I can put it into spiritual practice and teach it to others; because I believe if I think something is interesting or life changing; so will others. I seek knowledge in subjects for the sheer joy of it and may never put it into practical use, but it is still part of my tool box. Sometimes I seek knowledge to grow my business because I don’t believe in re-inventing the wheel.
I seek knowledge because it is food for my soul, and it is a commitment to ME and keeps my creation very, very interesting!!
Every year I commit to embarking upon at least one formal journey in learning new paradigms for spiritual, personal and creative growth, and always in things that require me to “live it, practice it, and then teach it” for the sheer joy of being in service to myself and others.
At the end of 2016 I became a Warrior Goddess Training facilitator based on the book and teachings of Heatherash Amara. This came at a time where I needed to take my 20 plus years of esoteric spiritual knowledge and put it into practice using easily accessible techniques in order to emerge from a dark night of the soul. I went to learn personally with her, and happened to literally walk across fire to release my fears. Now I can help other women do the same thing.
In 2017 I am taking that further and studying how to be an Artist of the Spirit Coach so I can work one on one with women who are ready to be the creators and catalysts of their own lives and would like support and tools to do so.
I am also studying Intentional Creativity so we can go deep into our souls and use prose and paint to write our own stories.
Oh and I might just finally learn Italian which has been on my bucket list for years!
